Beads are highly decorative objects which is pierced for threading or stringing. They are woven together with special threads or flexible wires or could be adhered to surfaces giving its lustre.
Beads can be made from different materials, early bead works were made of natural materials such as bone, coral, horn, ivory, seeds, animal shell, wood, stones and metals.
Beads are also made from synthetics materials such as ceramics, glass, bronze and brass. 

Beadwork which is what I do is the art of attaching beads to one another or objects with the use of needles and thread or flexible wires. Beadworks are a form of jewelry or other personal adornment.
